California Governor Arnold Schwarznegger Encourages Voting No on Prop 8!
I am completely in awe right now! A few prominent California Republicans have come out to encourage voters to vote No on the discriminatory initiative, Proposition 8, which would ban gay marriage, according to Diversity Inc . Former congressman Tom Campbell stated:
“Republicans believe deeply that government should be limited. Government has no business making distinctions between people based on their personal lives. That’s why, as a Californian and a Republican … I will be voting No on Proposition 8.”Other California Republicans opposing Prop 8 include: Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders. Let’s hope Prop 8 gets defeated in a huge way so that it sends a message to EVERYONE that equal rights should always be considered as the cornerstone of being an American.
