Jessica Stroup joins the CW’s 90210 television series, playing character “Silver”.

Jessica Stroup left her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina at age 17 and headed to Los Angeles. Jessica immediately found work as a model and actress.

Stroup’s first acting job was a 2005 guest spot on the Nickelodeon teen series Unfabulous. Her next gig was a small rle on the CBS movie “Vampire Bats”. Her first feature film viewed in theaters was “School for Scoundrels”. In 2007, Jessic Stroup played Cady, the daughter of the Devil and Sam Oliver’s love interest in CW’s Reaper.

Up until now Stroup has had a number of small roles in Girlfriends, Zoey 101 and most recently in Grey’s Anatomy. This month Jessica Stroup joins the grisly sequel “The Hills Have Eyes 2″. It’s a follow-up to last year’s hit remake and this time the carnage centers on a group of National Guard trainees who discover they’re under attack from a group of vicious mutants.

Stroup counts herself as one of the many fans of the remake although she does recall that even she found some of it a little too hard to take at times.

“I had to literally walk out during the trailer scene,’ Stroup admits, ‘And I’m a fan of horror movies! So when something affects me that much it’s a very good thing. When I got the script for the second one I was like oh absolutely I have to work on this one.”

Jessica Stroup’s current project is the CW’s new 90210 television show. Jessica Stroup will play Silver, a funky new character, that might be related to David Silver (Brian Austin Green). Which makes you wonder if Brian Austin Green might also join former 90210 stars Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, and Shannon Doherty on the show.

New cast members of the 90210 show will be Michael Steger, Dustin Milligan, AnnaLynee McCord, Tristan Wilds, Shenae Grimes, and of course Jessica Stroup.
