The producers of “Whiteout” were prepared to hire a nude body double to stand in for Kate’s body in a shower scene. The extra would earn $2000 for a day’s work. A source on the set said that the scene would focus on the woman’s bottom and thighs. The search for the body double was done on a Hollywood casting website.
In Whiteout, Kate plays a US Marshal who has to track a killer in Antarctica. The movie would cost $50 million to make.
